Here at FutureStateMachine, we try to support the artistic community whenever possible.  We believe the work we create is a valuable form of artistic expression.  We have had our work in a variety of creative showcases and welcome expressions of interest for further participation in creative events.

Freeplay Parallels 2017...

OfficeBots: Reality Bytes [VR] is proud to be a part of this year's Parallels Independent Showcase during Melbourne International Games Week.  It's a one night only event which starts at 7:00pm on 26th October, 2017.  Doors open at 6:45pm and you can get tickets here.

Parallels is an event presented by  Freeplay Independent Games Festival.

From the artsy, to the weird, to the provocative, to the punk. For over ten years, Freeplay Independent Games Festival has been exploring these vital margins of games culture in Melbourne and Australia, from bedroom coders, to artists exploring the possibilities of games, to game culture’s punk rockers and agitators. Parallels highlights some of the most intriguing, experimental, unique, and alternative games being made at the fringes of Melbourne and Australia’s independent games scene today.

FutureStateMachine's Creative Director, Pranee McKinlay is honoured to be included amongst the talented line-up of independent developers.  She'll be talking about what inspired her to create OfficeBots: Reality Bytes [VR] and why she is so passionate about her quirky byte sized creation.  She hopes to see you there!

OfficeBots: Reality Bytes was honoured to be a part of the Virtual Reality Cinema's exhibition space at the 2017 St Kilda Film Festival.   A wide variety of players had the unique opportunity to play the Beta version for free at the St Kilda Town Hall before it's release later in 2017.  You can have a look at the Festival Program Guide here.
